QA/QC Engineer

Role Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in QA QC at Navkar Metal India, you will be responsible for overseeing the quality and quantity management, document control, problem-solving, and cost control for metal and metal-related products, particularly in stainless steel fabrication. Your role will involve coordinating with design, production, and installation teams on-site in Mumbai to ensure compliance with project regulations and quality standards. You will also be expected to provide technical advice and innovative solutions to overcome challenges. Key Responsibilities: - Manage quality and quantity of metal products - Control documents and ensure timely approvals - Solve problems related to mechanical engineering - Monitor costs and adhere to budgets - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation system - Track progress of machine-related work and maintenance - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to meet deadlines - Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations - Assist in equipment procurement and technical specifications - Support site teams with necessary documentation and technical assistance - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for effective communication and coordination Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - 3-4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in manufacturing or project-based environment - Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices - Familiarity with industry codes and standards for stainless steel and alloys - Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) - Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
