QA Tester

As a QA Tester, your responsibilities will include executing manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications. You will be tasked with identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or similar platforms. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders is essential to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Additionally, you will perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across various environments. It will be part of your role to assist in maintaining and updating test documentation, including test plans and test cases. Supporting the QA team in improving testing processes and methodologies will also be expected. Participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings as part of the Agile/Scrum process is vital for effective teamwork. To qualify for this position, you should have a basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies. Hands-on experience in manual testing is required, while exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Postman, or JMeter is considered a plus. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms is necessary. The ability to write clear and concise test cases and test reports is crucial. Experience in testing web and/or mobile applications, as well as understanding APIs and proficiency with tools like Postman, is preferred. Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git is also expected. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes is highly valued. We are looking for local candidates from Surat, Gujarat. Educational Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is typically required.
