QA Tester

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Passion Gaming, your role will involve ensuring the stability and accuracy of the game and its features to provide a smooth and bug-free player experience. Your passion for gaming and attention to detail will be key in this position. **Responsibilities:** - Perform functional, regression, gameplay, and content testing - Create effective bug reports with accurate STRs and track them from discovery to resolution, discussing key issues with the development team - Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and bug triages to communicate progress - Design and execute test cases based on project or feature scope - Learn quickly, adapt to the environment, and communicate effectively with Development and QA teams - Take ownership of game testing aspects until thorough testing and submission, ensuring high quality and accuracy are maintained **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably in gaming, with excellent communication skills - Strong testing skills with a good grasp of methodologies, best practices, and procedures - Understanding of the software life cycle and its quality implications - Prior experience in testing Mobile or web games/applications, testing APIs using Postman, writing SQL queries, and understanding database structures - Ability to develop test cases based on requirements and experience with bug reporting tools like JIRA, Bugzilla - Familiarity with proxy tools like Charles, Fiddler, working with Android and iOS mobile apps, basic knowledge of automation testing scripting and framework, and experience with Agile methodology Please note that the company is based in Gurugram, Haryana, and you are required to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. The job is full-time and permanent, with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. A Master's degree is required, along with 5 years of experience in QA/QC. The work location is in person.,
