QA Tester

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer at Passion Gaming, your role is crucial in ensuring the stability and accuracy of the game and its features to provide a smooth and bug-free player experience. Your passion for gaming and eye for perfection will drive you in this role. **Responsibilities:** - Perform functional, regression, gameplay, and content testing. - Create effective bug reports with accurate STRs and track them from discovery to resolution, highlighting key issues to the development team. - Actively participate in daily stand-up meetings and bug triages to communicate progress. - Design and execute test cases based on project or feature scope. - Quickly learn and adapt to the environment. - Communicate effectively with Development and QA teams throughout testing phases, taking ownership of game testing aspects until thorough testing is completed. - Maintain high quality and accuracy standards. **Education and Experience Required:** - 5+ years of software testing experience, preferably in gaming, with strong communication skills. - Proficient in testing methodologies, best practices, and procedures. - Understanding of the software life cycle and its quality implications. - Hands-on experience in testing Mobile or web games/applications. - Familiarity with testing APIs using Postman and writing SQL queries. - Ability to develop test cases based on requirements. - Proficiency in bug reporting tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. - Experience with proxy tools like Charles, Fiddler, etc. - Experience in testing Android and iOS mobile apps. - Basic knowledge of automation testing scripting and framework. - Experience working in Agile environments. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday, located in Gurugram, Haryana. A Master's degree is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of QA/QC experience. Relocation to Gurugram or reliable commuting is necessary for this role.
