Job Title: QA Tester Company: Jain Software Location: New Rajendar Nagar, Raipur Experience: 2+ years Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Tester to join our product development team at Jain Software. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products through manual and automated testing. Your work will directly impact product stability and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases Perform manual and automated testing on web, mobile, and desktop applications Identify, record, and track bugs through to resolution using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) Conduct regression testing whenever bugs are resolved Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand new features and ensure timely delivery Document test results and generate reports on testing progress and quality metrics Ensure software meets business and user requirements before release Skills Required: Basic understanding of SDLC and STLC Knowledge of testing techniques (black box, white box, regression, etc.) Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Postman, or JMeter is a plus Good knowledge of bug tracking tools like JIRA Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases Analytical mindset and attention to detail Good communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Certification in testing (ISTQB or similar) is a plus Experience in database testing and basic SQL knowledge Exposure to Agile/Scrum development process Why Join Jain Software?
