QA Tester

As a QA Tester at Deutsche Bank, you will be responsible for ensuring that testing strategies, plans, and deliverables are effectively executed for all applications and programs within your domain. Your role will involve designing and conducting testing procedures and frameworks to verify software and technical products, investigating instances where products do not meet expectations, and implementing quality assurance practices to support business development activities. You will drive the adoption of best practices and policies, contribute to the improvement of methodologies, collaborate with counterparts across the business to enhance QA standards, and maintain defect records and metrics for reporting purposes. In this role, you will design and develop test automation frameworks using Java and tools like Cucumber BDD, collaborate with development and QA teams to create comprehensive automation suites, integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment, execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies, analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and work on improving test coverage and efficiency. You will stay updated with emerging testing technologies, document test cases and procedures, and maintain and enhance test automation frameworks. To excel in this position, you should have a strong proficiency in Java, experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD Cucumber and Gatling, knowledge of version control systems, CI/CD tools, and build tools, experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services, familiarity with messaging queues and streaming platforms, database testing expertise, knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies, experience in Agile/Scrum environments, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You should also be able to lead test strategy development, mentor junior team members, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
