QA Test Engineer

As a Quality and Assurance Testing Engineer at Deutsche Bank, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and high quality of software changes made as part of the bank's digitalization journey. Collaborating closely with business and operation units, you will bring your expertise in test management, test automation, and testing skills to enhance the development team within a Squad. Your focus will be on creating test cases, developing test automation features, and executing test activities on various environments, contributing to the continuous improvement of software development processes. You will be involved in the Software Development Lifecycle, starting from analyzing requirements, maintaining test cases, and backlog prioritization to testing software and actively participating in project discussions. Your responsibilities will include developing high-quality manual and automated test solutions that meet both functional and non-functional requirements, submitting, monitoring, and retesting defects, and documenting test strategies, plans, risk assessments, and results. To excel in this role, you should have at least 15+ years of experience in Quality Testing and Assurance, with a strong background in requirements understanding, test strategy formulation, test planning, and test case creation and execution. Proficiency in tools like Performance Centre, ALM, Quick Test Professional, Jmeter, Selenium, SOAP UI, Postman, UFT, and SQL developer is essential. Experience in Test Manager role for larger programs, release planning, test case assignments, and Test Automation features development is highly valued, along with familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and banking domain processes. In addition to technical skills, strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role. You should be able to work effectively with global and local teams, manage vendors, and collaborate with development teams to address software defects and ensure the quality of deliverables. The ability to work in a collaborative environment, challenge solution approaches when necessary, and demonstrate ownership qualities will be key to your success.
