Role Overview

Automation Engineer

implementing continuous testing practices

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain

  automated test scripts

  to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Apply expertise in

  testing principles, practices, and methodologies

  , including

  BDD

  and continuous testing.
• Execute and manage tests using tools such as

  Cucumber, JMeter, Playwright, Appium, Postman

  .
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  , improving release efficiency.
• Conduct

  security, performance, accessibility, usability, and inclusion testing

  to identify and mitigate risks.
• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to support QA process improvement.
• Share knowledge and best practices to enhance the QA team’s standards and methodologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years

  of professional experience in automation testing (FinTech experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of

  testing principles, practices, and methodologies

  , including

  BDD

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  Cucumber, Jest, JMeter, Playwright, Appium, Postman

  .
• Proficiency in

  JavaScript

  and

  TypeScript

  for test scripting.
• Strong understanding of

  continuous testing

  with integration into CI/CD pipelines (

  Jenkins, GitLab CI

  , or similar).
• Solid grasp of

  software development processes

  and a

  risk-based testing approach

  .
• Excellent

  analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail

  skills.
• Strong

  communication and collaboration

  skills, with experience working in Agile environments.
