Skills Mandatory- Automation Testing Frameworks, Performance Testing, API Testing, Test Case Design and Execution, Defect Management Tools, Version Control Systems Total Experience 5 to 8 years Work Location - Cochin/Trivandrum Notice period - Immediate Job Purpose (both Onsite / Offshore) QA SDET to work with a cross-cultural team spanning onshore and offshore to design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks, ensuring the quality and reliability of applications with seamless API and third-party service integration. Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities An individual contributor capable of meeting the expectations of a highly skilled team with extensive technical expertise in testing applications for the US mortgage market. Job Specification / Skills and Competencies Develop and Execute Automation Test Scripts: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to validate application functionality and performance. Perform API and Backend Testing: Conduct thorough API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, and SOAP UI, ensuring smooth integration between systems and verifying endpoint responses. Manage Performance and Load Testing: Utilize performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner to evaluate system performance under load and identify performance bottlenecks. Test Case Design & Execution: Design detailed test cases and scenarios based on business requirements, ensuring that they cover all critical functionalities and edge cases. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, ensuring all issues are clearly reported, managed, and resolved. Collaborate with Development Teams: Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and review the design, contributing valuable feedback from a testing perspective. Continuous Integration and Version Control: Collaborate on continuous integration practices using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and work with version control systems such as Git or SVN for source code management. Test Automation Framework Enhancement: Contribute to the improvement and optimization of test automation frameworks, ensuring they evolve to meet the changing needs of the project Problem-Solving and Communication: Demonstrate strong debugging skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to team members and stakeholders. Domain expertise: Working experience in building applications within US Mortgage Domain. Expected to have good communication and experience in working directly with US based customers. Expected to work at least 4 hours overlap with US Pacific business hours.
