Hello Folks, We are hiring for "QA Automation Engineer (Playwright)" for one of the Hybrid Based Company. Job Description: Job type:- Permanent / Full Time Exp 7 to 12 yrs Loc - Mumbai/Bangalore (Hybrid) NP : Immediate to June Serving Only Key Skills : Automation Testing (5+ yrs) + Playwright (2+ yrs) + Nodejs / JavaScript / Typescript (rest mentioned in below JD) Job Description Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with a solid foundation in modern automation tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (Node.js) for UI automation and Postman with JavaScript for API testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure the quality of web and API services. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end UI automation tests using Playwright with Node.js. Automate REST API testing using Postman (with JavaScript test scripts) and Newman. Create and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test suites. Integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). Perform test case reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting failures in automation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in agile environments. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports with traceable logs. Required Skills and Experience: Total QA experience: 7+ years. Automation testing: 5+ years minimum. Playwright with Node.js: 2+ years hands-on experience. Postman & JavaScript scripting: 2+ years. Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript. Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), and test management tools. Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and JSON schemas. Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test documentation. Good to Have: Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or CodeceptJS. Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6). Exposure to Docker and containerized test execution. Experience with other test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Selenium). Any references would be greatly appreciated !!
