Automation Test Engineer Location: bangalore Experience: 612 years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing frameworks and tools, as well as strong proficiency in API testing. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated test cases and continuous integration practices. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and backend applications. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Participate in code reviews and contribute to test automation best practices. Maintain test documentation and report bugs using issue tracking systems like JIRA. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on software quality and test coverage. Required Skills: Proven experience in automation testing with tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar. Strong knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman, SoapUI, REST Assured, or similar. Good understanding of programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar. Experience with version control systems like Git. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
