QA Lead

Primary Skills:

1.Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium / Playwright

2.Strong programming skills in C# & JavaScript for writing automation scripts.

3.Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured or similar tools.

4.Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control (TFS/GIT) and automated deployment practices.

5.Deep knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes within Agile development lifecycles.

6.Familiarity with test case management (TestRail, Zephyr) and bug tracking (ADO/JIRA).

7.Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

8.Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

9.Good knowledge on Vulnerabilities testing

10.Experienced in Load and Performance testing

Secondary Skills:

1. ISTQB or similar QA certifications

2.Knowledge of database testing (SQL) and working with large datasets.

3.Penetrating testing.

Responsibilities:

1.Lead the QA team across multiple projects, ensuring thorough test coverage for manual and 2.Automation testing.

3.Define and drive QA processes, methodologies, and standards across the SDLC.

4.Design and develop robust automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, or equivalent.

5.Oversee functional, regression, integration, vulnerabilities and performance testing efforts.

6.Conduct manual testing where automation is not feasible or to validate edge/test cases.

7.Review and approve test plans, test cases, and test reports created by team members.

8.Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

9.Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies to provide testing estimates and feedback.

10.Ensure traceability of requirements to test cases and defect tracking.

11.Mentor and coach junior QA engineers and build a culture of quality within the team.

12.Monitor and report on key QA metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts.
