QA Lead

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor the QA team in implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Provide guidance on best practices, standards, and test strategy execution.
• Perform code reviews for automated test scripts to ensure maintainability and quality.

Test Automation & Execution

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web applications using Python and Playwright.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously improve test automation coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

Collaboration & Process Management

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective test strategies.
• Define, enforce, and optimize QA processes, standards, and best practices.
• Manage test environments and coordinate testing activities across multiple releases.

CI/CD & Tooling Integration

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Stay updated with latest testing tools, trends, and technologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 58 years of experience in QA automation with strong Python expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
• Knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with test frameworks such as Pytest or unittest.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
• Strong scripting, debugging, and version control skills (Git).
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies including functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Selenium or Cypress.
• API testing using Postman or REST-assured.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
