QA Lead

As a QA Lead at Digi Valet, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our hospitality solutions. Your extensive experience in automation testing, performance testing, Selenium testing, manual testing, API testing, and other relevant methodologies will be key. Responsibilities: - **Leadership and Team Building:** - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of QA engineers. - Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. - Encourage continuous learning and skill development within the QA team. - **Adaptability and Problem Solving:** - Demonstrate adaptability in handling evolving project requirements. - Quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, and methodologies. - Proactively identify and address challenges in the QA process. - **Lead by Example:** - Set high standards for quality and lead the team by example. - Promote a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. - Uphold and reinforce Digi Valet's values and professional standards. - **Self-Motivation:** - Exhibit a self-driven and proactive approach to QA leadership. - Take ownership of projects and drive them to successful completion. - Demonstrate a high level of initiative and accountability. - **Test Strategy and Planning:** - Develop comprehensive test strategies aligned with project goals. - Collaborate with project managers to establish testing timelines and deliverables. - Review requirements and specifications to ensure testability. - **Manage daily scrum meeting** - **Responsible for testing estimation/effort for sprint** - **Responsible for Function and Regression testing for the sprint tickets** - **Responsible for API testing for the APIs implemented or edited** - **Creation and Execution of automation Test Case** - **Client communication and co-ordination within the team** Required Skills: - Exposure to Agile scrum methodologies - Experience in web and mobile application testing - Web functional automation using Selenium WebDriver and WebdriverIO - API testing using Postman and Apickli - Performance Testing using JMeter - Understanding of RESTful API types - Various levels of testing, Test Planning, Test Creation, Test Execution, Defect Logging, Reports, Different Suits Preparation - Experience in effort estimation - Exposure to Health Care, E-commerce, Workforce Management, and Education domains - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS - Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases - Functional Testing (Web and Mobile Platform), API Testing, Postman, JIRA Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance - Strong experience in automation testing, performance testing, Selenium testing, manual testing, API testing, etc. - Proven leadership experience with a focus on team building and mentorship - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on interesting and challenging projects involving cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Voice Technology, and Virtual Reality.
