Job Title: QA Lead – Automation (Selenium) Location: Remote (India) Experience Required: 5+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive QA Lead – Automation to join our team remotely in India. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end quality assurance initiatives with a strong focus on Selenium-based test automation , CI/CD integration, and Agile processes. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone passionate about building high-quality, scalable test solutions and driving a culture of continuous quality improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to develop and execute automation test strategies. Design, build, and maintain Selenium WebDriver frameworks for functional and regression testing. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline using tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test coverage and alignment with business goals. Define and implement best practices for test automation, cross-browser testing, mobile testing, and performance testing. Create, manage, and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Conduct root cause analysis for defects and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with developers. Stay current on emerging testing technologies and recommend enhancements. Contribute to sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team. Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of overall QA experience, including 3+ years in Selenium test automation. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber. Hands-on with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured). Solid experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Git, Maven, Docker. Exposure to cloud-based testing tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices. Experience with Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. Exposure to accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 or Section 508 (a plus). QA certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Selenium Tester) are a bonus.
