QA Lead - Automation (Capital Markets Domain)

Role Overview: As a Python QA Automation Engineer at Beyond Key, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions for trading and post-trade applications. Your role will involve combining technical automation expertise with a strong domain understanding across asset classes and regulatory environments in the Capital Markets. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute functional, integration, and regression testing frameworks using Python. - Develop and maintain automation frameworks utilizing PyTest, Unittest, Behave, and NumPy. - Conduct REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or Python request libraries. - Validate trading data in JSON, XML, and CSV formats, and integrate automation within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions). - Perform backend validation using logs and feeds to ensure data accuracy across systems. - Review and analyze Trade Lifecycle workflows, OMS/RMS data flows, and FIX messages (Execution Reports, tags). - Collaborate closely with business analysts and developers to ensure quality and compliance in deliverables. - Provide detailed testing reports, defect analysis, and automation coverage metrics. Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in Python for automation scripting and framework design. - Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing. - Knowledge of REST APIs, request handling, schema validation, and automation pipelines. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions. - Basic exposure to database validation (SQL Server / Oracle) and backend QA.
