Job Description

Job Title: QA Inspector – Ambar GroupRole Summary

The QA Inspector ensures that forged and machined components meet Ambar Group’s and customers’ quality standards through systematic inspection, documentation, and process adherence.

Key Responsibilities• Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspection of forged/machined parts.• Check dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, hardness, and visual defects.• Use measuring instruments: Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, etc.• Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, rejection logs, and traceability.• Verify parts as per drawings, SOPs, and control plans.• Identify non-conformities and coordinate with production for corrective action.• Support first piece approval, PPAP samples, and customer audit requirements.Requirements• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Productionx/Metallurgy.• 1–5 years’ experience in forging/machining quality inspection preferred.• Ability to read engineering drawings and handle measuring instruments.• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
