Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for maintaining Quality Standards by inspecting incoming parts from suppliers for in-process FAI Production/R & D/Production of finished products and recording compliant quality results. As a part of Varex Imaging, a leading innovator in X-ray imaging component solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of X-ray tubes, digital flat panel detectors, software, and other key components of X-ray imaging systems. Key Responsibilities: - Perform In-Process and Final Inspection on Parts/Materials. - Interpret and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to validate parts. - Prepare and Record Compliant First Article Inspection Reports. - Use Standard Measuring Equipment such as CMM, Microscope, Calipers, Height gauge, etc. - Inspect parts following process/procedure using dimensional and visual inspections. - Work with supplier Quality for Inspection results disposition. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. - Possess in-depth knowledge about IQC Equipments, CMM, Calipers, Height Gauge, Image Dimension Measurements, etc. - Expertise in CMM and interpreting GD&T. - Ability to read Engineering drawings, create inspection Plans and Programs. - Experience with Incoming Quality Checks Background. - ISO-13485 certification desired. - Experience with SAP software desired. - 3+ years of related experience. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Strong computer skills with the ability to learn and adapt to new software programs. - Strong blueprint and drawing interpretation skills. - Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision, and must be a team player.
