Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for data pipelines, ETL processes, and BI reports.
Validate data accuracy, transformations, and business rules across data sources (SQL Server, Azure Synapse, ADF, Databricks, etc.).
Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems to ensure integrity and quality.
Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing of data workflows and dashboards (Power BI, SSRS, etc.).
Identify, log, and track defects and issues using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure end-to-end quality assurance.
Participate in sprint ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes.
Automate data validation and regression testing using Python, PySpark, or SQL-based scripts (preferred).
Ensure adherence to QA standards, documentation, and release readiness processes.
