QA Engineer

Role Overview: As a QA Tester for the Quality Assurance team, your main responsibility will be to manually test software to identify bugs and ensure the product's quality before its release. Your success in this role will rely on your analytical skills, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze requirements and create test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on functional specifications. - Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality, usability, and performance. - Report, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla. - Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects. - Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing. - Participate in agile/scrum ceremonies like daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation. Qualifications Required: - 2.5-5 years of experience in manual testing or quality assurance roles. - Basic understanding of Automation testing is necessary. - Proficient knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes. - Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or Mantis. - Ability to comprehend business requirements and translate them into test cases. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
