QA engineer

Job Description

The Test Analyst role will support the analysis, preparation, and execution of testing for projects and releases and will ensure system and application changes are fit for purpose The test analyst will be involved in all aspects of testing from the more technical testing approaches including test automation, database manipulation and xml injection testing to functional testing and supporting UAT and BVT for the business Key Responsibility Understanding test requirements to create and document test scenarios and test cases Provide input into test planning Maintaining traceability matrix -Preparing test data Executing test cases and logging & tracking defects Reporting test metrics Participating in test prioritization/triage sessions Co-ordinating with business SMEs and engineers to categorize and prioritize defects Requirement Experience in testing including writing test cases/scenarios, testing and test reporting Leading defect life cycle management including tracking and triaging Experience in analysing functional and nonfunctional requirements for testing Experience with using at least one test and defect management tool such as Zephyr, JIRA Experience working with external vendors on a complex project is required Experience working on global projects is required Strong communication and collaboration skills interfacing with key project stakeholders Experience in technical testing is highly desirable (APIs, Databases, Test Automation) ISTQB certification is a plus Bachelors degree is desirable ISTQB certification is a plus Preferred Salesforce experience By clicking Accept All Cookies , you agree to the storing of cookies on your device to enhance site navigation, analyze site usage, and assist in our marketing efforts
