QA Engineer

As a Senior QA Engineer at Domo, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of web applications, mobile applications, and other software products. Your expertise in both manual and automation testing methodologies will be utilized to drive a culture of data curiosity and deliver real-time insights to users. Your problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be key in maintaining quality standards. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities and qualifications: Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the overall technical lead and automated testing solutions resource. - Design and code key aspects of test automation framework(s). - Provide mentoring and technical guidance to Software Engineers and QA Engineers in automation. - Conduct ad-hoc technical training, design and code reviews, and resolve technical issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify necessary testing capabilities. - Partner with Engineering on test automation efforts and ensure alignment with testing solutions. - Own configuration management for integrating test automation into the continuous integration environment. - Act as a liaison with Engineering for continuous integration management. Job Requirements: - 5+ years of progressive manual testing and automation engineering experience in an enterprise software environment. - Strong familiarity with standard concepts and technologies in web-based applications. - Excellent teamwork and communication skills. - Experience in Agile product development environment. - Ability to meet aggressive production schedules and deadlines. - Experience in implementing new technologies and methods. Desired Skills: - Experience with technologies/tools such as Jira, Selenium/Python, JMeter, Java, JavaScript, Python, Postman, Jenkins, and Testrail.
