QA Automation Engineer (Python)

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, Playwright, PyTest, Pywinauto, Java (Selenium), API testing (Rest Assured), and SQL. Experience in the mortgage domain, Azure DevOps, and testing desktop & web applications is essential.

Shift: Evening (4 PM – 1 AM IST) – Collaborate with global teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & develop automation test scripts (Python, Playwright, Pywinauto, PyTest)
• Maintain frameworks for desktop & web apps (Java Selenium, WinAppDriver)
• Manual & automated testing for web, desktop, and API applications
• API automation using Rest Assured & backend validation using SQL
• CI/CD integration & defect tracking using Azure DevOps
• Cross-browser & desktop compatibility testing
• Prepare test plans, cases, and reports; track defects to closure
• Apply mortgage domain knowledge (loan origination, servicing, compliance)
• Follow test automation best practices: modular, reusable, maintainable

Requirements:

• 5+ years QA experience (manual & automation)
• Strong in Python, Pywinauto, PyTest, Playwright, Java Selenium
• API automation with Rest Assured
• SQL expertise for backend validation
• Mortgage domain experience
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for CI/CD & test management
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills
• Willing to work evening shift (4 PM – 1 AM IST)
