QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation, focusing on Selenium with Java, Page Object Model (POM), JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber framework. The ideal candidate should be adept at integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and thrive in an Agile setting. Your primary responsibilities will include crafting, enhancing, and upkeeping robust automated test scripts to guarantee top-notch software delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain Automation Frameworks utilizing Selenium with Java, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber while adhering to best coding practices. - Implement Page Object Model (POM) to establish scalable and easy-to-maintain test scripts. - Integrate Automated Tests into CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. - Conduct API Testing using tools like REST Assured or Postman to validate backend functionality. - Collaborate closely with Development & DevOps Teams to ensure smooth test execution within Agile environments. - Execute & manage Regression Test Suites to detect defects early in the development process. - Report defects & debug using platforms such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. - Stay abreast of the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the test strategy. Requirements: - Experience: Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in automation testing. - Automation Expertise: Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java and Page Object Model (POM). - Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber BDD for test automation. - CI/CD Integration: Practical experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools for automated test execution. - API Automation: Hands-on knowledge of REST Assured, Postman, or Karate for API testing. - Version Control: Acquainted with Git/GitHub/GitLab for managing test scripts. - Agile Testing: Exposure to Scrum/Kanban methodologies and working in Agile environments. - Defect Management Tools: Experience using JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools for tracking bugs and test execution. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level, Selenium WebDriver Certification, or AWS/Azure DevOps certifications. - Cloud & DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized testing using Docker, Kubernetes. - Performance Testing: Exposure to JMeter or Gatling for performance and load testing. - Mobile Automation: Familiarity with Appium for mobile test automation is a plus.
