QA Automation Engineer

Finseal is a tech-driven company building modern web applications using React.js, Django, and PostgreSQL. We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is eager to kick-start their career in software testing with a focus on automation. You will work closely with our engineering team to ensure quality and stability through automated testing of both frontend and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist in writing automated test scripts for web applications.
• Develop test cases and scenarios for frontend (React.js) and backend (Django) modules.
• Automate UI testing using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Automate REST API tests using tools like Postman, Newman, or Rest Assured.
• Validate database transactions and backend logic using PostgreSQL queries.
• Collaborate with developers to understand new features and implement automation coverage.
• Contribute to and maintain existing test automation suites.
• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Document bugs clearly and track them through resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or final-year student).
• Basic understanding of automated testing concepts and SDLC.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or any scripting language.
• Willingness to learn tools like Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and Git.
• Good logical and analytical thinking.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

• 1 year of hands-on experience in test automation (internship or full-time).
• Experience testing web apps built on React.js and Django.
• Familiarity with SQL and ability to write basic queries.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and Git workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
