Django Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Django Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining backend systems using Django and Django REST Framework (DRF). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of PostgreSQL, ORM concepts, and be comfortable working in agile, fast-paced development environments.

Experience with Procure-to-Pay systems or E-commerce platforms is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using Django and DRF
• Implement and optimize database models and queries using Django ORM with PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product managers to deliver robust features
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of backend services
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional experience with Django and DRF
• Strong understanding of Django ORM and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with RESTful API design principles
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience working on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems or E-commerce platforms
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Pytest, Django TestCase)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
