Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience in test automation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, and a passion for delivering high-quality software products through effective testing and automation. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts for web and API-based applications. Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand product requirements and translate them into test cases. Execute functional, regression, integration, and performance tests. Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies. Develop and maintain test frameworks and automation tools. Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and design discussions. Ensure test environments are properly set up and maintained. Work closely with DevOps/CI-CD teams to integrate tests into build pipelines. Provide detailed test reports, including test coverage and defect metrics. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience in QA automation. Strong experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium . Hands-on experience in Java, Python, JavaScript , or any relevant scripting/programming language. Experience with API testing tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Karate . Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI). Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks . Experience working with version control systems like Git . Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Good to have: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling). Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.). Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for test environment setup. Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
