Automation Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

  Selenium WebDriver (Java)

• Implement and manage BDD test frameworks using

  Cucumber

  ,

  TestNG

  , or

  JUnit

• Perform API testing using

  Postman

  and

  REST Assured

• Validate backend data using

  SQL queries

  and

  JDBC connections

• Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using

  Jenkins

  or

  GitHub Actions

• Report defects and track issues using

  JIRA

  , and maintain test repositories in

  Git/GitHub

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile-Scrum environment
• Generate test reports using tools like

  ExtentReports

  or

  Allure

• Conduct

  cross-browser testing

  to ensure compatibility across platforms

Must-Have Skills:

• Selenium WebDriver with Java
• TestNG / JUnit, Maven / Gradle
• Cucumber (BDD)
• API Testing with Postman and REST Assured
• SQL & JDBC for backend validation
• Git, GitHub, JIRA
• Agile-Scrum methodology

Nice-to-Have:

• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Test reporting frameworks (ExtentReports, Allure)
• Cross-browser testing tools and techniques
