As a QA Tester in our company, your role involves creating and executing test cases and scripts based on functional requirements and user stories. You will be working in an agile environment, participating in daily sprint calls, grooming sessions, and retrospectives. Logging issues in Jira and retesting will be part of your routine, with a focus on accuracy over speed. It is essential to continuously learn about the applications to provide optimal service to clients. Additionally, you will be expected to learn and utilize automation tools under the team lead's guidance. Researching issues thoroughly and providing alternative solutions, accepting feedback, sharing knowledge with team members, and consistently delivering excellent performance are key responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Create and execute test cases and scripts based on functional requirements and user stories - Utilize agile methodology and attend daily sprint calls, grooming, and retrospectives - Log issues in Jira and retest - Work with priority on accuracy over speed - Continuously learn applications and maximize service to clients - Learn and utilize automation tools as per team leads' discretion - Research issues thoroughly and provide alternative solutions - Accept feedback, apply it, and strive for improvement - Share knowledge with team members and document processes - Consistently deliver excellent performance Qualifications Required: - Experience: 1-4 years of QA testing or equivalent education/training - Skills & Competencies: Detail-oriented, determined, persistent, excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, highly engaged, energetic, solution-focused, results-driven, strong time management, ability to prioritize - Technical Skills: Knowledge of Atlassian Jira, defect reporting, documenting test results, SQL. Familiarity with Reflect automation tools is a plus. Ability to create and document test plans and test cases, strong organizational skills, understanding of the software development lifecycle. Knowledge of Windows operating system functionality, MS Office, QA automation, C#, and SQL would be beneficial - Education/Certification: BS/MS in computer science or equivalent This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance. The work location is remote, and the job type is full-time.
