A leading technology-driven organization is seeking an experienced Python Lead Developer to join their team on a contract role. This position requires strong leadership abilities along with deep expertise in Python, SQL, AWS Cloud, and Apache Airflow.📌

Position Overview

• Role: Python Lead Developer
• Location: Chennai – Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
• Experience: 8–10 Years
• Bill Rate: ₹150,000 per month (Contract)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Python developers to deliver scalable, high-quality software solutions.
• Architect, design, and develop backend services and data pipelines using Python and Airflow.
• Work extensively with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Glue, Redshift, etc.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Data Engineering, Analytics, and DevOps.
• Implement best practices in coding standards, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing automation.
• Troubleshoot system issues, performance bottlenecks, and production challenges.
• Drive architectural discussions and provide technical leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a lead/senior role.
• Strong expertise in Python (OOP, APIs, data processing) and frameworks like Flask / FastAPI (preferred).
• Advanced skills in SQL, relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure & services.
• Expert-level knowledge of Apache Airflow for orchestration & scheduling.
• Strong understanding of ETL, data integration, and data modeling.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools, and modern DevOps workflows.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
