Python Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our growing engineering team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable applications and APIs. You’ll work across the full software development lifecycle—from design and development to testing and deployment—ensuring high-quality solutions that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Write and optimize SQL queries, understand relational databases and indexing strategies
• Implement and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs
• Apply design patterns to create scalable, maintainable solutions
• Work on MVC architecture and integrate with frontend technologies like JavaScript and CSS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure software complies with security and accessibility standards
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Document application changes and develop updates

Mandatory Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Python development (Python 3.x preferred)
• 3+ years of overall software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
• Solid experience in SQL and RDBMS (Joins, Queries, Indices, etc.)
• Understanding of HTTP protocols including sessions, cookies, and request-response cycle
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS)
• Working knowledge of MVC Architecture
• Ability to build scalable and maintainable applications
• Experience in debugging and performance tuning

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Hands-on experience with Django (Django REST Framework) or Flask (Flask-RESTful/Restplus)
• Proficiency in development using 3rd-party APIs (REST, SOAP, XML, etc.)
• Experience with cloud services like AWS (S3, Lambda, CloudFront, etc.)
• Knowledge of caching tools and databases like Redis, ElastiCache, Cassandra
• Familiarity with message queues and pub-sub mechanisms
• Understanding of accessibility standards and web security best practices
• Experience developing for multiple browsers and mobile platforms

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
