Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer with hands-on experience in building high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI. The ideal candidate will have a solid backend development background and a passion for building scalable and maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure high code quality.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection measures in APIs and backend logic.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production and development environments.
• Document technical designs, API specifications, and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks (Flask, Django REST Framework).
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming in Python (async/await).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge of containerization and deployment using Docker.
• Good understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and testing.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Exposure to message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) or background task frameworks (e.g., Celery).
• Understanding of modern authentication methods (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with data validation tools (Pydantic) and API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
