About the Role

Python Automation Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based BDD frameworks

   for functional, regression, and end-to-end testing of distributed backend applications.
• Implement 

  UI automation

   using tools like 

  Selenium

   and 

  Playwright

   to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Write and execute 

  unit, integration, and system tests

  , debug issues, and create test data aligned with defined test scenarios.
• Collaborate with 

  product managers, DevOps, and developers

   to deliver high-quality, end-to-end solutions.
• Continuously 

  evaluate and improve automation frameworks

   by adopting modern Python libraries and tools.
• Take 

  ownership of automation projects

  , ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Mentor and guide junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree

   in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 69 years of experience

   in automation testing, with a strong focus on Python.
• Hands-on expertise with 

  Python automation frameworks

   (e.g., BDD frameworks like Behave, pytest-bdd, or Cucumber).
• Strong experience in 

  UI automation tools

   such as 

  Selenium and Playwright

  .
• Solid understanding of 

  SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies

   (functional, regression, integration).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and test data preparation skills.
• Excellent 

  communication skills

   to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

• Leadership abilities

   with experience mentoring and guiding team members.
