Python Automation Engineer

Job Description: You will be part of the Customer Validation Testing (CVT) team at Cisco, collaborating with engineers to qualify and automate technologies for deployment in high-end Cisco Web and Service Provider customers. Your role involves crafting, automating, configuring, and qualifying customer use cases based on IOS XR platforms. You will design innovative test frameworks, drive test cases manually and through automation, seek continuous improvements in test coverage, and collaborate with various teams to understand and validate customer use cases. Key Responsibilities: - Craft, automate, configure, and qualify customer use cases based on IOS XR platforms - Generate test plans and prioritize tasks based on customer demands - Design and develop innovative test frameworks and tools to support the test execution environment - Develop web-based GUIs using analytics and machine learning to display and analyze execution results - Drive test cases manually and through automation, raise, track, prioritize, and verify defects and fixes - Seek continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation - Reproduce customer issues in internal test labs, collaborate with development, account, and customer teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in STEM with 7+ years of experience or Master's in STEM with 5+ years of experience - 4+ years of programming experience with Python or Go - Networking domain experience with L2 or L3 networking protocols - Experience in networking automation and software quality assurance (Note: Additional details of the company have been omitted as they are not directly related to the job role.),
