Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automation scripts using

  Python

  for various operational & testing workflows.
• Build and manage automation frameworks for data processing, system tasks, or QA validation.
  
• Integrate automation tools with

  CI/CD pipelines

  (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Automate cloud infrastructure tasks using Python SDKs (AWS boto3, Azure SDK, GCP SDK).
  
• Implement API-based automation for REST/GraphQL services.
  
• Develop reusable modules, utilities, and libraries to streamline automation.
  
• Work with Docker/Containerization to support automated deployments.
  
• Troubleshoot automation failures and improve reliability of pipelines/scheduling jobs.
  
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, SDET, and Platform teams to implement end-to-end automation.
  
• Maintain documentation for scripts, tools, and platforms.
  

Required Skills

Core Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in

  Python

  (OOP, scripting, packages, error handling).
• Experience with automation frameworks (PyTest Automation, Robot Framework, custom Python frameworks).
  
• Hands-on with

  REST API automation

  using Python modules like requests, httpx.
• Knowledge of

  CI/CD tools

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Experience with cloud automation using:
  

• AWS

  (boto3, Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch automation)
• OR

  Azure/GCP

  equivalents
• Excellent understanding of Linux, shell scripting, cron automation.
  
• Experience with

  Docker

  and container-based automation setups.
• Version control with

  Git
