Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the Customer Validation Testing (CVT) team at Cisco, where you will collaborate with a dedicated and dynamic team to develop solutions for large networks. Your role will involve qualifying and automating influential technologies, XR platforms, and solutions for deployment in high-end Cisco Web and Service Provider customers, impacting users worldwide. The team comprises talented engineers with diverse experience levels, operating globally from centers in the US, Canada, and India. Key Responsibilities: - Craft, automate, configure, and qualify customer use cases based on IOS XR platforms. This involves generating test plans, dynamically prioritizing tasks, and utilizing the right technical expertise. - Design and develop innovative test frameworks and tools to support the test execution environment. Develop web-based GUIs for displaying and analyzing results using analytics and machine learning. - Drive test cases manually and through automation, raise, track, prioritize, and verify defects and fixes. - Seek continuous improvements in test coverage, execution, and automation, optimizing performance and configuration dimensioning. - Reproduce customer issues in internal test labs, collaborate with the development team, account team, and customers to understand and validate customer use cases. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience or Masters in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience - 4+ years of programming experience with Python or Go - Networking domain experience with L2 or L3 networking protocols such as ISIS, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, GRE, MPLS-TE, LDP, RSVP, Segment routing, L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN - Experience in networking automation and software quality assurance,
