Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python QA Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. This role involves building and enhancing automated test suites for our back-end services using Python within our existing internal automation framework..

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust automated test suites for backend services using Python

Integrate automated tests into our internal test framework and CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

Identify gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements to enhance the overall testing strategy

Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, and maintain the reliability of the test suit

Continuously optimize and enhance the automation framework to improve efficiency and maintainability

Key Requirements:

5 to 8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Python

Proficient in writing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation scripts using Python

Hands-on experience in testing backend systems, APIs, and data workflows

Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like PyTest, unittest, or similar

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating test suites

Good grasp of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices

Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned modules, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
