Python & AI Development Internship - Unpaid (AI & ML)

We are looking for a passionate Python AI/ML Developer Intern to join our team and contribute to building cutting-edge AI solutions. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on deep learning models, data pipelines, and deployment using FastAPI. You will collaborate with our development team to design, train, and optimize models that power our core products.

Work shift is 10:00 am - 7:00 pm IST non-negotiable

Internship Duration - 6 months

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and implement deep learning models for real-world applications.
• Work on data preprocessing, augmentation, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for training.
• Train and fine-tune custom AI/ML models to achieve optimal accuracy and efficiency.
• Build and maintain APIs for AI model inference using FastAPI.
• Assist in experiment tracking, evaluation, and hyperparameter tuning.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and popular ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras).
• Understanding of deep learning concepts (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, etc.).
• Experience with model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Knowledge of FastAPI or similar web frameworks for serving ML models.
• Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, and data visualization libraries.
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize model performance.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Must Haves

• Knowledge of Python Programming language and AI integrations, Automations, Deployments etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Understanding of MLOps tools (MLflow, DVC, Docker).
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).

Good To Haves

• Bachelor's from a Tier-1 or Tier-2 school in computer science.
• Knowledge of Docker
• Good knowledge of Devops concepts
