Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled PYP Science Teacher to join our team in Bhubaneswar. The ideal candidate will have a strong science background and a deep understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) framework. She will be responsible for creating an inquiry-based, engaging, and hands-on learning environment that promotes scientific curiosity and critical thinking among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver science lessons aligned with the IB PYP curriculum
• Facilitate student inquiry and exploration through interactive and real-world learning experiences
• Incorporate transdisciplinary themes in science instruction
• Use formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor and report student progress
• Plan collaborative units with other subject teachers for interdisciplinary learning
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities
• Foster a safe, respectful, and stimulating classroom environment
• Maintain documentation and student portfolios according to IB standards
• Participate in professional development, PYP workshops, and planning sessions
• Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders about student performance

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Science / Education or a relevant discipline
• 1 – 2 years of experience teaching science at the primary level
• Knowledge of or experience with the IB PYP curriculum is an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Passionate about inquiry-based, student-centered learning
• Female candidates preferred
