Maintaining optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock will be crucial in this role. Evaluating supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and pricing will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Your coordination with production, quality control, and finance teams will be essential to ensure smooth operations. You will need to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards in procurement. Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings will also be a part of your duties. Maintaining accurate records and preparing regular procurement reports will help in tracking the progress and making informed decisions. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role - Strong negotiation and communication skills - Knowledge of food safety and regulatory standards - Analytical mindset with attention to detail - Proficient in record keeping and report preparation In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above, the company provides food on-site as a benefit.
