Purchase Trainee

As a Procurement Executive at Global Calcium Pvt Ltd in Hosur, your role will involve managing procurement activities related to Engineering items, CAPEX, Lan consumables, and lab instruments. This includes sending inquiries and collecting quotes from vendors, preparing comparative statements, creating purchase orders, and ensuring that the purchases meet the criteria of quality, price, timeliness, and reliability as per the company's standards. You will also be responsible for developing new vendor development plans to enhance supply chain efficiency, conducting price negotiations with vendors to optimize costs, and overseeing purchase activities from initiation to execution. Your main goal will be to ensure the timely delivery of materials through effective logistics management. Qualifications required for this role include 0 to 1 year of experience in a purchasing or procurement role, along with a degree in any discipline. A strong understanding of buying, capex, capital procurement, capital purchase, material procurement, opex, and pricing strategies is essential. Candidates with a background in the pharma, chemical, or food industry will be preferred.
