Purchase Specialist - Fixed Term Contract

Job Description: As a Purchase Executive at Nestle, your main purpose will be to ensure that local MRP and Non-MRP materials under S&IM category are sourced from the local market/Import in accordance with set procedures & best practices. You will be responsible for establishing purchasing strategies, ensuring timely delivery of services & indirect materials, and contributing to operational excellence savings through sustainable procurement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely delivery of services & indirect materials as per the agreed service level - Establish purchasing strategies to achieve objectives within the given purchasing Group - Ensure full compliance with procedures, guidelines & best practices of Nestle - Contribute to operational excellence savings through sustainable procurement initiatives - Vendor development & management with the support of Technical Teams - Negotiation of best credit terms to improve working capital - Compliance review and timely closing of any gaps with sustainable initiatives Qualifications Required: - Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a Purchase role in FMCG/FMCD/Food Processing/Pharma/Beverage/Beauty and Personal Care Organisation - Demonstrated experience in implementation of sourcing strategies for different spend categories - Demonstrated successful use of risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relation management - Experience in vendor negotiation,
