Purchase & Procurement Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for planning and managing procurement activities for materials and equipment needed for Solar EPC projects. Your role will involve developing and qualifying new vendors and suppliers, overseeing day-to-day purchase operations, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of project materials. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain vendor database, monitor supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and manage procurement of materials and equipment required for Solar EPC projects. - Develop and qualify new vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries. - Oversee day-to-day purchase operations within the EPC Solar division. - Coordinate closely with Project Management, Design, and Site Teams for timely procurement and delivery of project materials. - Maintain vendor database, monitor supplier performance, and ensure compliance with company policies. - Track material requirements vs. inventory and ensure optimized procurement planning. - Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best procurement practices. Qualification Required: - Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management in EPC/Power/Solar projects. - Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within timelines. - Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams. - Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.,
