Job Description

Job Description:We are hiring a Purchase Officer to manage procurement of construction materials and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying suppliers, negotiating prices, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites. Key Responsibilities:Source and negotiate with vendors for construction materials like cement, steel, sand, tiles, electricals, plumbing, etc. Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and maintain purchase records Monitor stock levels and forecast requirements in coordination with the site team Track and ensure timely delivery of materials to various sites Maintain vendor database and build strong supplier relationships Compare prices, specifications, and delivery timelines before finalizing orders Handle invoice verification and coordinate with accounts for payment Ensure procurement is within budget and follows company standards
