Job Title: Purchase Officer
Location: Sanand, Ahmedabad
Industry: 3rd Party Cosmetics Industry
Experience Required: 1–3 years (Experience in Cosmetics or Pharma will be a strong plus)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant field
Salary Range: ₹2.8 LPA – ₹4.0 LPA

Job Summary:

We are hiring a Purchase Officer for our client in the 3rd Party Cosmetics Industry. The role involves managing procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of raw materials and packing materials. Candidates with prior experience in cosmetics or pharma third-party manufacturing and familiarity with Pharma Cloud software will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and quality procurement
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, agreements, and supplier databases
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and warehouse teams to align purchase planning with operational needs
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical items to avoid shortages or delays
  • Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply issues with vendors
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards during procurement
  • Prepare and present regular MIS reports on purchase status, cost analysis, and vendor performance
  • Support audits by maintaining accurate and updated purchase documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1–3 years of experience in purchase or procurement roles (Cosmetics or Pharma 3rd Party Manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and sourcing skills
  • Familiarity with Pharma Cloud software will be a strong advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with good analytical and reporting abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹280,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
