Purchase Merchandizer (Garments)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies: Create and execute strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs.
• Vendor management: Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best deals.
• Inventory management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production and warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Cost control: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Market analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and identify potential new suppliers.
• Team leadership: Supervise and mentor purchasing staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
