Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Lead all purchasing activities, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting suppliers. - Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) to potential vendors. - Collect Goods Transfer Permits (GTP) and technical drawings from vendors for procurement. - Coordinate with the commercial and execution departments to gather Sales Orders (SO) and Purchase Orders (PO). - Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value. - Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors to ensure quality and reliability. - Monitor procurement processes and ensure compliance with company policies. Preferred candidate profile - Bachelor of Technology (B-Tech) degree in a relevant engineering discipline. - Proven experience in purchasing and procurement within the EPC (solar, water, electrical, solar projects) or manufacturing industry (wires and cables). - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
