Job Description

Position: PURCHASE MANAGER Description: Procurement and sourcing of organic and conventional Raw Materials from suppliers across India. Provide forecasts to suppliers for future supplies. Keep a constant check on stock levels. Prepare MIS/Reports. Specify quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers and ensure that the raw material quality standards are met as per client specifications. Issue Work Orders to the factory team as per the Purchase Orders received from the clients. Coordinate and manage the entire sampling and testing activities for the purchase of the raw materials and laboratories. Should have appropriate negotiation and purchasing skills/techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service. Designs, implements, manages and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements. Determine delivery conditions for present and future material availability/price and prepares market analysis reports. Vendor Development by build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers. Provide support for released products, evaluate product field performance and reliability and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Experience: 3-6 years Education Qualification: B-tech / M-Tech Food technology / MBA Agribusiness Management Industry Type: Agriculture/Biochemistry/Technology /Food technology (Agri-tech) Role Type: Individual Contributor Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent
