Purchase Intern

Role Overview: You will assist in identifying and sourcing suppliers for materials and services. Your responsibilities will include collecting and comparing quotations from vendors, supporting in preparing purchase orders (POs) and ensuring proper documentation, coordinating with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and order status, and maintaining accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Additionally, you will assist in tracking inventory levels and replenishment needs, liaise with internal departments (production, accounts, warehouse) for smooth procurement operations, help in resolving purchase-related queries or discrepancies, and maintain and update the supplier database. You will also provide administrative support to the procurement team. Qualifications Required: - Strong attention to detail - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite - Prior experience in procurement or supply chain management is a plus Please note that this is an internship position with a contract length of 6 months.
