Job Description

• • Procurement & Sourcing:
• • Plan and forecast material requirements for automation and robotic projects, ensuring timely procurement of high-quality components and systems.
• • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for material handling equipment.
• • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize cost and quality.
• • Manage end-to-end procurement processes.
• • Project Management:
• • Lead and coordinate automation and material handling projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• • Develop detailed project plans, manage project risks, and ensure proactive problem-solving.
• • Collaborate with engineering, technical, and operations teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
• • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• • Material Handling
• • Drive continuous improvement in procurement and project execution processes.
• • Inventory & Supplier Management:
• • Maintain optimal inventory levels for critical parts and manage supplier performance.
• • Conduct regular audits and quality checks with suppliers to uphold standards.
• • Manage logistics and transportation for project materials as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• • Education:
• • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• • Experience:
• • Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and project management, with a strong focus on material handling and automation.
• • Technical Skills:
• • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
• • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• • Experience with material handling equipment
• • Leadership, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
• • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
